Before installing, it is recommended that you make a backup copy of your iPhoto library folder, which is located in your Pictures folder.

If you receive a message that you do not have sufficient privileges to install this software, click the lock icon in the installer and enter an administrator user name and password. The administrator name is shown in the Users pane of System Preferences. For more information, see Mac Help, available in the Help menu.
